Mexico City International Airport, also known as Benito Juarez International Airport, is located in close proximity to downtown Mexico City, about 10km away. The airport is accessible by public transportation, including the metro and metrobus, as well as taxis, shuttles, and rental cars.

Keep in mind that the metro and metrobus can get quite crowded, especially during rush hour. If you have excess luggage then public transportation can be a troublesome alternative.

There is an inter-terminal transportation system that connects both terminals. The Aerotren monorail system provides transportation between terminals for passengers who have a boarding pass. There are also inter-terminal buses that provide transportation between the terminals for all passengers and visitors. Keep in mind that the rail system is much faster than the bus.
