About Bocas Del Toro
The town of Bocas Del Toro on the north-west of Panama was discovered by Christopher Colombus in 1502. La Amistad, one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites and one of the most important eco-tourism regions, is located in this region. The climate of Boca Del Drago is very tropical. Therefore, two seasons live together. While heavy rains are observed in November and April, the temperature between May and October is calculated around 29 degrees Celsius. The average annual temperature in the city of Boca Del Drago, which receives irregular precipitation throughout the year, is calculated as 25.9 degrees Celsius. Bastimentos Island National Marine Park is known as one of the most important tourism centers of the region.
This park, which can be reached from the capital city in 20 minutes by ferry, is visited by many tourists all year round. The city also offers many activities such as diving, sailing, surfing, trekking and bird watching, as well as the most beautiful beaches of the Caribbean Coast. Various water sports activities are being held throughout the year on these beaches.
The most beautiful sea stars of the world are in this island. The Feria Del Mar Festival, held every year in the middle of September, brings together different artistic activities.
