Transportation to Airport from Lahore City Center

Allama Iqbal Intl Airport

You can easily travel to Allama Iqbal International Airport from Lahore city center by getting on a taxi or renting a car. If you prefer using a means of public transportation, you can get on a bus going to the airport. Whichever alternative you prefer, you should not forget that traffic in Lahore can be very heavy. You should take the road a bit earlier in order not to miss your flight.

Car Rental

There are many car rental companies in the city center. When renting a car, pay attention to the terms of the contract and bargain if possible. Keep in mind that the traffic can be heavy, and most of the drivers are careless. If you have enough budget, rent a car with a driver. You can reach Allama Iqbal International Airport from the city center by driving eastward on Aziz Bhatti, Canal Bank or Zarrar Shaheed Road and following the airport signs.

Taxi

Today, regular flights are organized from the airport to many important cities such as İstanbul, Dubai, Paris, New York and Tokyo. Allama Iqbal International Airport, which is the second busiest airport of Pakistan, is located 15 kilometers of the city center.

The airport includes two terminals as domestic and international. The international terminal has a lounge, duty free shops and various eating and drinking areas. In addition, passengers can benefit from the Wi-Fi network at the airport for free. At the airport, you can buy souvenirs consisting of local Pakistani desserts.

Transportation to Dammam City Center from Airport

Dammam is a port city located just on the Gulf of Basra, east of Saudi Arabia. In the city rich of oil, the industry is also highly developed. The railway system has an important place in the city. In addition to intercity passenger transport by train, cargo transportation is also being carried out. A project that will link Dammam to Mecca and Medina is in preparation.

The train station is 8 kilometers from the city center. From there you can reach Riyadh in 3 and half hours, Hofuf in 1 hour and Abqaiq in 40 minutes.

There is also an airport in the city and both domestic and international flights are operated from here. Bahrain International Airport is only 86 kilometers from the city center. From Dammam King Fahd International Airport you can reach the city center by taxi.

Different companies' offices are available at the airport to rent a car. For passengers who prefer to use means of public transport, bus services are arranged.

Taxi

If you do not prefer public transport, you can find a taxi at the airport's passenger exit. It is possible to reach the city center by taxi in a short time, less than half an hour, at a cost of about 50-60 SAR.

You should not forget that taxis do not have taximeters. For this reason, it is useful to tell the driver your destination in advance and agree on the fare.

Bus

If you prefer public transport, you can get to the city center by public buses operated by the Saptco Company. The journey takes up to 40 minutes and the ticket price is 12 SAR per person for one way.

You can also reach El Huber and El Hassa cities outside the city center by these buses. You can visit the Saptco Information Desk at the passenger terminal for departure times and route information.

Car Rental

There are the offices of ten domestic and foreign car rental companies in the airport. If you are going to drive a car from the airport to the city center, you must turn east at the terminal exit and connect to King Fahd Road.
